Norfolk Family
History Society

Kirby Hall Library is the headquarters of the Norfolk Family History Society, situated in Norwich at 70 St. Giles Street, Norwich, NR2 1LS. 

It is free to the general public and is staffed by Volunteers who are happy assist Visitors with their research.

The Library contains a large selection of genealogical resources for the family historian including genealogy books, directories, parish register transcripts, monumental inscriptions, family trees & pedigrees, census records, village information and much more.

There are numerous books, periodicals and magazines. 

It is well equipped with computers and offers free access to the Internet including Ancestry, TheGenealogist, FindMyPast and our own NORS.  A searchable database of most Parish Register Transcriptions and MIs is also held on computer.

Members and the public are reminded that the library resources are for reference only and cannot be borrowed.

The Book Stall is situated in the Library and  purchases can be made directly when visiting Kirby Hall. Items can also be purchased online from this Website .
