Volunteering for
Norfolk Family History Society Work
If you are able to spare time to help with administration of the Society or ongoing genealogy projects the Trustees will be pleased to hear from you. If you would like to volunteer your services please complete and return the relevant form (or forms!) below providing details of your area(s) of interest, particular skills and circumstances so that should a vacancy exist, or arise in the future, contact could be made to discuss your offer of help. Unfortunately, no payment can be made other than for agreed out of pocket expenses but all offers of help are genuinely very much appreciated by all concerned.
Society Administration
As a voluntary organisation, administration of the Society is totally reliant upon the donation of time and effort from a minority of members in order to provide services and facilities for all its members. The Society welcomes offers of help with society administration and projects.
With advances in communications technology, the problems associated with residing away from Norfolk can, in some instances, be dismissed and in several cases actually be a distinct advantage.
