Who Do You Think You Are? LIVE (2009)
Who Do You Think You Are? LIVE is back and takes place at the Grand Hall, Olympia, London from Friday 27th February to Sunday 1st March 2009.
Ainsley Harriet, Matthew Pinsett (CBE) and Lesley Garrett (CBE) will be appearing at this year’s event.
The event has made its mark as the largest gathering of family history experts, TV historians and celebrity enthusiasts and this year is no exception! If you’ve been inspired by the TV series to find out your family story or are a seasoned researcher, you’ll get all the help you need.
Norfolk Family History Society will be at stands 79 and 80 so why not come along and visit us at this year's Who Do You Think You Are? LIVE event for expert advice and tips on researching your Norfolk ancestors. Our friendly and knowledgeable volunteers can help you with all of your queries on Norfolk. We will also have a range of Norfolk books covering every facet of genealogy to help you learn more about your ancestors from Norfolk.
In addition, the Who Do You Think You Are? - LIVE event will be hosting:
- The Society of Genealogists Family History Show will take place for the 17th consecutive year and will access such a wide range of information, expertise and advice whilst utilising the best available techniques, experts and product. If you are tracing Scottish, Welsh or Irish ancestors there will be many more exhibitors to help you at the show this year.
- Military Pavilion - if you are searching for information for military ancestors, you can visit a range of military record organisations who can help with your military family history. In addition, the Military Memorabilia Checkpoint will be on hand to examin your military memorablia.
- DNA Workshop is a new area devoted to family genetics and familiy tree DNA. Advances in DNA testing offer a new way of exploring your ancestry and genealogy so why not checki out the DNA Workshop ?
