The following is a list of family history talks and meetings arranged by the Diss, Great Yarmouth, Kings Lynn, Norwich and London branches of the Society.  Non-members are welcome to attend but there may be charges for entry.

2010 Programme of Workshops

We are delighted to announce a programme of workshops at Kirby Hall. The workshops will provide an in-depth study of specific topics relevant to the family historian, ranging from the well known to the frequently underused, led by professional researcher and qualified tutor, Gill Blanchard, BA. MA. PGCE (PCE).

Norfolk History Fair - 31st May 2010

The Norfolk Family History Society will have a bookstall at the Norfolk History Fair, Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse.

N.F.H.S. Venues

Diss = Diss (2nd Tuesday of each month at 7.00pm)
Diss Methodist Church, Victoria Road (A1066), Diss
[The Church is situated on the north side of Victoria Road
at its western end. It is about 100m east of Mere Street
and entry is from The Causeway]

GY = Great Yarmouth (1st Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm)
Middlegate Hall, Christchurch, King Street, Great Yarmouth
[On the linked map find the river Yare and SOUTH QUAY.
Go eastward along YARMOUTH WAY and Christchurch will
be found at its junction with King Street.]

Lon = LONDON (on Saturdays, approximately every 6 months, at 2.00pm)

[Go west from Railway station towards the river.
Locate SOUTH QUAY which runs South-North (mostly one-way)
along the riverside, then the Crown and Magistrates Courts
on corner of COLLEGE LANE. The College will be found just
past this. Parking is available on the riverside here.]
