Members Research Services
Introduction to the Look-Up Service
The Society offers a Look-Up service free of charge for Members who are unable to visit Norfolk and aims to enable Members with family history enquiries. The service is provided by volunteers who are able to check the wide range of genealogical, family history and local history resources held by the Society at Kirby Hall.
Members are requested to send any requests for Look-Ups to Alan Bullard, either by writing to Kirby Hall or via email. If any Member is interested in volunteering to assist with this work then please could they contact Alan. Ideally, the position requires a minimum of two half-days at Kirby Hall researching approximately a dozen enquiries per week, plus some additional time for responding to enquiries (which can be done from home).
