Introduction and Overview

NFHS LibraryA small team of volunteer researchers led by Mrs. Pauline Westgate provide a look-up service free of charge for Members. The team are able to check the wide range of genealogical, family history and local history resources held by the Society at Kirby Hall. This forms one of the means by which the Society can offer a service to members unable to visit Norfolk.

Then contact the LOOK-UP TEAM at Kirby Hall using the form below, remembering to quote your Membership Number at all times. Six separate enquiries per year can be accepted if brief relevant information is given and a precise question asked.

Please remember that the Norfolk Family History Society is staffed by Volunteers, who freely give their time to help others.  We ask people to be patient when contacting us. A response is sent as soon as possible but we would ask that 28 days are allowed.

Due to being staffed by Volunteers the Look-Up Team are only able to attend on a part time basis, Tuesday and Wednesday - A.M.

We regret that telephone requests cannot be dealt with.
