Details of Parish Transcripts held by the Norfolk Family History Society are provided as an aide for members wishing to visit Kirby Hall Library. For members unable to visit Kirby Hall the transcripts can be searched, free of charge (except photocopying and postage etc.), providing requests are specific to names of individuals, geographical area, nature of 'event' (baptism, burial or marriage) and approximate dates.
Unless shown on the Book List, none of the transcripts are presently available for purchase either as printed copy, on computer disc or microfiche.
There will always be times when transcripts has been withdrawn from the Library for indexing, copying, or rebinding. If you wish to visit the Library to see a particular transcript, please contact the Society check that it is available before travelling.
